Solon

Solon Energy GmbH, based in Berlin, is one of the most traditional solar companies in Germany. Founded in 1996, Solon was already listed on the stock exchange in 1998. The upswing of the company continued rapidly. Between 2005 and 2008 alone, sales quadrupled. The number of employees rose to almost 500, and subsidiaries were founded in Italy and the USA. The most famous reference site for the Solon products are the roofs of German government buildings in Berlin. They are almost exclusively equipped with Solon modules.

After the turmoil of the financial crisis, the Solon brand repositioned itself in 2012.

The immense expertise that has accumulated under the umbrella of Solon further makes the brand one of the most successful on the European market. The company's know-how ranges from module production in the high-performance sector to turnkey power plant construction. Hardly any other company in the German solar industry is in a position to provide this depth of service. Solon stands for innovation, reliability and complete service. The Solon quality is permanently checked and improved in our own test laboratories. The name of the company is program: Finally, the thinker and politician Solon belonged to the seven wise men of Greek antiquity. The company headquarters in Berlin-Adlershof is itself a reference object, from the architecture to the energy system of the entire house.

Solon Solar modul

Solon's award-winning and high-yielding high-performance modules continue to be the core of the Berlin-based photovoltaic system. The Solon Blue 230/07 module is a classic that achieves up to 15.9% efficiency with 60 monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar cells. The hollow section profile, drainage holes and highly transparent glass make the module resistant to weather conditions and ensure the longevity of the product. It is also compatible with all mounting systems.

The Solon Black 230/02 has similar features but is designed for an elegant design. With this optics, the entire appearance of an object can be upgraded.

The Solon SOLitaire system is an in-roof solution suitable for all roofs with an angle of 10 to 60 degrees. The PVA secures the good yield with performance classes up to 250 kWp like the roof seal equally.

Solon solar storage

In addition to the reliability of his classics, Solon continues to lead the field of innovation. The solar industry's hot topic, solar storage, has transformed Solon into a marketable solution that can grow up to 70% of its own. SOLiberty is a lead acid battery based solar energy storage that can meet the needs of a family of four. With 24 kWh, the times can be easily bridged without electricity production. As the level of feed-in tariffs currently falls below the average tariff of electricity providers, solar warehouses like the SOLiberty are the best alternative in the generation of solar power.

Solon performance Tuning

Yield increases of up to 25% can be achieved with the Solon SOLraise. MPP tracking determines the maximum power points of the modules at different solar irradiation. Furthermore, the low heat generation ensures a better overall performance of the system. The performance can be closely monitored. Monitoring on the PC takes place without additional hardware, since the entire electronics are already included in the system. The data can be retrieved via a protected web portal. Solon already has user-friendly solutions for all innovative areas of solar technology.
