Q Cells is a solar module manufacturer founded in 2012 and operating in the form of a GmbH. The company is headquartered in Thalheim, Germany, and offers employment to around 1,350 employees at various locations. About 800 of them are used in Germany. Among other things, Q Cells manufactures monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules and CIGS solar modules. The company not only produces the PV modules, but also researches the latest technologies and develops high-quality products.
The cells are manufactured in Germany and in Malaysia. The module production takes place exclusively in this country.
