Aleo Solar is a photovoltaic company specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality solar modules. At the same time, the company acts as a system provider for the global photovoltaic market. The foundation of Aleo Solar took place in 2001. At the time, the photovoltaic company still bore the name Solar Manufaktur Deutschland (SMD). Coinciding with the successful IPO in 2006, the company was renamed Aleo Solar.

In general, the PV modules produced by the company, whose headquarters are located in Prenzlau, are known under the brand name Aleo. Under this name, the sale was also operated. Apart from Germany and the European market, Aleo Solar is particularly involved in Italy, Spain, the USA and Canada, whereby the photovoltaic company has been able to realize projects in almost all parts of the world. Today, the focus of Aleo Solar sales is on the relevant specialist dealers for photovoltaic modules as well as on the support of professional plant manufacturers. At the same time, various open-space systems could be realized over the years. As a result, the solar modules of Aleo Solar can be found today, among others, in rooftop systems, in roof-integrated systems, in façade systems, in solar parks and in open space installations. Private, commercial and municipal projects alike rely on the high quality standards of Aleo Solar.

The product portfolio of Aleo Solar includes both monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules. In both cases, the company is able to provide photovoltaic modules that are characterized by high yields and a correspondingly high level of performance. Aleo Solar acts very customer-friendly and adapts the required modules to the respective requirements. For example, parallel to the solar modules in standard size, large modules or such photovoltaic modules are manufactured, which are adapted to the respective size requirements. In addition to the framed modules, laminate modules by Aleo Solar are also available, which can be flexibly adapted to the respective conditions. Mono-crystalline modules from Aleo Solar are characterized by their different colored surface. The black solar modules are therefore predestined for dark surfaces, such as dark roofs, and at the same time represent a visual enhancement, not only of the respective system, but also of the entire object.

Aleo Solar polycrystalline modules are particularly suitable for systems that operate in grid-connected operation. Aleo Solar pays particular attention to the production of solar modules that are as easy to install as possible. This is evident inter alia from the extremely practical sizes of the finished modules.

Independent bodies check and evaluate the modules of Aleo Solar at regular intervals. The high quality standards of Aleo Solar are also reflected in a product warranty of ten years and a performance guarantee of 25 years.
