Founded in 2004, Solutronic AG has developed from its headquarters in Köngen, Germany, into a specialized developer and producer of solar inverters. The declared main objective of the company is the specialization in the development of inverters as well as intelligent systems for renewable energies. Solutronic AG concentrates on grid-connected inverters for photovoltaic systems without transformers.
In 2005, the company, which at that time still operated under the name Solutronic GmbH, began producing its first own inverter. Five years later, the successful IPO of the now converted Solutronic AG company succeeded. Since then, the shares of the company are traded in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Since its inception, the team of experts at Solutronic AG has not only been working on the consistent further development of inverters and on achieving the series maturity of further innovations. Likewise, a solid expansion of the sales and service network took place. The efforts of Solutronic AG are moving in the direction of creating a correspondingly good infrastructure within Europe, the Middle East and the Middle East as well as in Australia.
Despite the strong urge to expand, Solutronic AG has decided to produce exclusively within Germany. Thus, Solutronic AG ensures that the inverters produced not only meet the highest technical requirements. At the same time, new insights in the various fields can be quickly and relatively easily integrated into the production process. The inverters developed and produced by Solutronic AG differ in many respects from the otherwise conventional systems of a comparable type. Therefore, Solutronic AG was also able to distinguish itself successfully from other manufacturers. Clearly outlined goal is to extend the actual task of the inverter, namely the conversion of the direct current produced in the photovoltaic modules into line-compatible alternating current. Therefore, Solutronic AG develops inverters which at the same time ensure the efficient use of the previously produced electricity. In combination with this strategy, Solutronic AG is focusing, among other things, on improved self-consumption management and the further development of storage systems for energy produced using renewable energy sources.
For the inverters themselves, Solutronic AG relies on sophisticated software control. As a result, the inverters from Solutronic AG make it possible to achieve two major advantages. On the one hand, the intelligent system allows a new type of monitoring of the photovoltaic system. On the other hand, the developments of Solutronic AG also allow direct communication with the existing system itself. The correspondingly high degree of product efficiency and the extremely low error rate of the components are further significant plus points that speak for the innovative strength of Solutronic AG.
