Monitoring Systems

Solar-Log 200

In various expansion stages for operators, solar engineers and dealers, the Internet platform Solar-Log ™ WEB offers extensive and professional evaluation programs as well as additional services for the monitoring of photovoltaic systems.

Solar-Log 200

With an inverter, the basic features of the device include a wealth of important functions such as graphical data evaluation on the PC, email alarm and yield forecasting.

Solar-Log 500

With an inverter, the basic features of the device include a wealth of important functions such as graphical data evaluation, email alarm and yield forecasting.

Solar-Log 1000

The Solar-Log 1000 monitors up to 100 inverters with a maximum of 1 MWp total power. A full-graphic display with touchscreen operation as well as the possibility to connect to a USB stick, local alarm, anti-theft and other sensors characterize the largest Solar-Log ™.

Solar-Log 300

Plant Size
Regardless of the number of inverters, the Solar-Log 300 can be used up to a size of 15 kWp. Thus, the new model easily monitors small plants with two or three inverters from one manufacturer.

Current consumption
The Solar-Log 300 is also available in the version Solar-Log 300 meters. Here, an electricity meter is integrated in the datalogger. With the Solar-Log ™ Meter, up to two three-phase cables can be individually and coupled monitored and displayed. Thanks to the S0 interface, which is extended to two inputs, external electricity meters can also be connected. Network power outlets then provide monitoring.

Feed-inmanagment
Of course, the feed-in management was taken into account here. Especially for small systems, the intelligent 70% control is interesting, with the support of which the proportion of own electricity is even further increased. Optionally, there is the SL300 with the well-known power management function (PM +) for connection to ripple control receiver.

Solar-Log 1200

Plant Size
Solar-Log 1200 is compatible with all common inverters. Several inverters from a maximum of two manufacturers and a total of 100 kWp can be connected.

Current consumption
The Solar-Log 1200 is also available in the version Solar-Log 1200 meters. Here, an electricity meter is integrated in the datalogger. This clearly saves installation time and costs. With the Solar-Log ™ Meter, up to two three-phase cables can be monitored individually or coupled. Thanks to the S0 interface, which has been extended to two inputs, external electricity meters can be connected. Using the standard integrated relay, devices such as Heat pumps and air conditioners are controlled to increase the own electricity consumption.

Feed-in-management
The Solar-Log 1200 has a large TFT color touchscreen and a smaller LCD display for status messages. The color display shows the system owner directly and without PC all the important information about system performance, power consumption and own power share. The display offers a very high resolution and is optimized in view.

Solar-Log 2000

Plant Size
The Solar-Log 2000 finds its place in the monitoring and control of large plants and solar power plants. The new high-performance top model can monitor a maximum system size of 2000 kWp and up to 100 inverters. Thanks to the master-slave technology, a total of 10 Solar-Log 2000 units can be combined to form a complete system, thus significantly expanding the possible system size.

Current consumption
An additional RS485 / 422 interface, so there are a total of three, helps the Solar-Log 2000 to great connection flexibility. In addition, the top model provides all the innovations of the smaller series such as TFT color touch screen, LCD status display and additional connections such as CAN bus and alarm contact.

Feed-in-management
All functions of the extended feed-in management, which is required in Germany from a system size of 100 kWp - such as PM +, connection to telecontrol technology and utility meter - are of course available at the Solar-Log 2000.

Solarlog | Solarlog Germany

Solar-Log are intelligent devices for monitoring photovoltaic systems, which are developed, produced and distributed by the German company Solare Datensysteme GmbH. Solar-Log enables operators and owners of photovoltaic systems to obtain a complete overview of all functions and subareas of the entire system at any time and without any complications.

This makes Solar-Log ideal for avoiding a problem that is typical of small photovoltaic system operators. Especially with small systems, their operators often do without professional monitoring of the system. Over the months, however, the number of inspections, usually at regular intervals, is decreasing. However, if faults occur during the period in which no inspections are carried out, they will go unnoticed by the plant operator. This can result in severely high yield losses.

The corresponding coupling of the photovoltaic system with Solar-Log automatically avoids such yield losses or even complete yield losses. With its detailed evaluation, Solar-Log also allows conclusions to be drawn as to whether and in which area of the plant it is likely to suffer losses in the future.

However, Solar-Log also recognizes such drops in performance, which are sometimes not visible in the course of a manual inspection. At the same time, Solar-Log recognizes even the most minimal performance losses, which can result from bird droppings and pollution of the photovoltaic modules due to pollen or soot. Solar-Log is therefore also suitable for the early detection of possible problems and always establishes a connection between the optimal yield and the actual performance provided.

Even operators of small photovoltaic systems appreciate Solar-Log, since the initial investment is unique and within a manageable framework. Subsequently, Solar-Log can also be integrated into already built and operating systems. The manufacturer has succeeded in developing an extremely adaptable system with the development of Solar-Log. Solar-Log is currently compatible with several dozen different inverters.

In everyday life Solar-Log proves itself by its simple operation. This can be done classically on the actual terminal or via the computer. For a correspondingly easy monitoring by computer, among other things, the fact that no separate software must be installed to operate Solar-Log. Solar-Log is easily operated via the web browser and is therefore no more complicated than surfing the Internet.

The system can also be monitored on the road via a specially developed application, which was specially developed for Solar-Log and control via the iPhone. At the same time, the variant is available to have the photovoltaic system checked by the own installer by means of remote monitoring. In this case, the expert takes over the complete monitoring from a distance, is immediately informed of any performance losses and can respond directly. The operator of the photovoltaic system still has complete access to all data and additionally receives a detailed report on the photovoltaic system at regular intervals.
